I was thrilled and deeply honored when Howell Book House (the premier publisher of dog books) asked me to author The Maltese edition of their Happy Healthy Pet series.  The book was considerable fun for me to write.  Many of the questions Maltese lover's are always asking was the basis of the book, such as:  the origin of the breed, interpretation of the standard, grooming, raising your puppy, living with a Maltese and health issues.  Hopefully, you will find many of these answers in this book.
